Et si un hôtel était plus qu'un hôtel ? Et s'il était à la fois un miroir et un angle mort de notre société, reflétant et cachant ses besoins, ses habitudes, ses préjugés, ses angoisses, ses fantasmes et ses métamorphoses ?

S'inscrivant dans une histoire longue de l'hospitalité – qui était synonyme de sécurité et de survie pour les voyageurs –, la réinvention de l'hôtellerie peut initier un nouveau rapport au vivant et au non-vivant, à condition d'accepter de jouer un rôle inédit au sein des territoires, de la société, de la nature.

En partant de l'hôtellerie et de la manière dont on pourrait réinventer ces lieux ancestraux de l'hospitalité et, avec eux, le tourisme et le voyage, l'artisan hôtelier Cyril Aouizerate et la philosophe Gabrielle Halpern imaginent un nouveau projet de société.

Cyril Aouizerate est artisan hôtelier, cofondateur des hôtels Mama Shelter, fondateur et président de MOB REPUBLIC. Gabrielle Halpern est philosophe. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur le thème de l'hybridation.
