El payaso Sinsón
sonrisa no tenía
en su rostro bicolor.
Todas las tardes
los padres
pasaban de largo,
los niños reían buen rato,
y los perros
sacudían el rabo
ante el payaso Sinsón.
Pero Sinsón no comprendía
por qué nadie quería
ser parte de su función.
Pasábase las horas, Sinsón,
dándole vueltas al coco
y frotándose la nariz un poco,
buscando una solución.
Primero tocaba el violín
¡güin, güin, güin!
Después, tocaba el tambor
¡porrón, porrón, porrón!
Pero nada de nada
le funcionaba
al pobre Sinsón.
Y así, cada tarde,
niños y padres paseaban
ante un payaso de cartón.

Sinson the clown
smile did not have
on his bicolor face.
Every afternoon
parents
they passed by,
the children laughed a good time,
and dogs
they shook their tails
before the clown Sinson.
But Sinson did not understand
why nobody wanted
be part of his role.
Hours passed, Sinson,
spinning the coconut
and rubbing his nose a little,
Looking for a solution.
He first he played the violin
Güin, güin, güin!
Afterwards, he played the drum
Porrón, porrón, porrón!
But nothing at all
it worked for him
to poor Sinson.
And so, every afternoon,
children and parents walked
before a cardboard clown.
