ENDASH (MEMCO / New York City + Detroit) Endash (@endash - Daniel Sharp, b. 1994, Grand Rapids, Michigan) is a musician, artist, and curator. The majority of his work deals with techno, public space, and suburbia. He is the founder of Moods, an online mix series of non-techno by techno people, and formerly ran MEMCO, a Southeast Michigan DJ collective. His first full-length release, Come Home, drops December 14, 2019. Endash’s mix is an ode to former Berlin gem Farbfernsehen. The first club he went to in Berlin on a trip in 2015, its warm glow and house-friendly curation had offered the city an intimate alternative to its big cold boxes. The mix favors long transitions that pair Detroit house, jazz fusion, and acidic dub techno in order to reflect the optimism Farbfernsehen housed in the former TV shop from 2009 to 2019.
