A story both of a man written off by religion and of compassion, break through, rescue and transformation. In it we see the mission of Jesus – he “came to seek and to save the lost.” We learn how we can join with Jesus in his mission by not making it complicated, by recognising compassion as a trigger to do something and being committed to spending time with our friends, telling our stories and inviting them to come and see for themselves.
