Best-selling crime author Val McDermid was the guest on Episode 5 of Chris Sweeney Talks To.
Val was at the centre of her hometown football team Raith Rovers signing David Goodwillie. She lead the public outcry and removed her sponsorship, in what became a global news story.
She also discusses the newly formed McDermid Ladies and why watching their honest teamwork and enjoyment fills Val with inspiration for the beautiful game.
