Joining us on today’s episode of The Business Side of Music, is Jeremy Sirota, who is the CEO of Merlin.

Merlin is the independent artists digital music licensing partner. Merlin has premium deals with Apple, Facebook, Spotify, TikTok, YouTube, and 40 more global, regional and innovative platforms. Their global membership makes up 15% of the recorded music market from their labels, distributors, artist management companies, and other members.

While he was raised on the beaches of Southern California, Jeremy Sirota’s role at Merlin weaves together his lifelong passions of music and technology. As CEO of Merlin, he leads a global organization that helps enable independents to own their future. Prior to Merlin, he held senior roles at Warner Music and the Facebook Music team, and was a technology lawyer at Morrison & Foerster law firm.
