Professor Deepa Mani and Bhagwan Chowdhry talk about how humans don't have a good intuition for exponential phenomena. Humans think linearly, which works in the short term. But sometimes, things - such as Covid and Wealth (in the long term) - accumulate exponentially. They discuss a simple rule that allows you to do fast exponential calculations in your head, which you can use to impress family and friends and guard against foes and trends.
