Quiet Quitting is not the Answer
Manage episode 338619209 series 2923058
Quiet quitting is not empowering. In fact, it's a cry for help. Find out why this strategy, rooted in passive aggressive behaviors, won't actually help you advocate for the career you want. Listen in to learn what does work in renegotiating your workday.
- Work you love should give you energy. If you're feeling exhausted, it's a sign you need to realign your work with your passion.
- If you feel apathetic about your work, it means you need to change one or more of the following: the role you play on projects, the type of projects you do, your firm, or your career path.
- Avoiding conflict is not a conflict resolution strategy.
- Have the hard talks with your employer and negotiate for what you want or need.
- Be solution oriented, not problem driven.
- Proactively pursue the career you want instead of coping with the career you have by default.
