O projeto Vozes do IFRO Vilhena se conecta intimamente com dois outros projetos de extensão, quais sejam, Diálogos para além do Cone Sul e Ler o Filme. Os 3 projetos, de maneiras diferentes, procuram capturar conteúdos que atravessam o campus Vilhena do IFRO e lançá-los para o mundo através da internet. Esses projetos tem reuniões semanais (algumas separadas, outras conjuntas) e grande parte dos alunos e professores envolvidos exerce papel principal em um projeto e assistente em outro.
