We had a great conversation with Rob McInnes who is acting as Board Secretary of LES International and also running his own company to give strategic advice to technology transfer offices, research institutions, life sciences/technology ventures on issues of IP portfolio management, deal structuring/negotiation, and business/R&D strategy development. We discussed licensing strategies for TTOs, licensing strategies in contracted research projects, spinoff management strategies for Universities and KPIs that can be used for TTO performances.
