On this episode I continue exploring the “bases”and chord grooves we can use when playing rhythmically (but without soloing for now).
By starting the grooves on the upbeat and stressing upbeats and offbeats more often than the downbeats I can create a more syncopated bluegrass feel instead of a more down to earth bluesy feel.
These groove lessons will come in hand when we start to go over blues structures and licks,
I have one more lessons on grooves and than we will move to bends, 12 bar blues structure and how to begin to create licks and ideas for solos…Stay tuned!
